Nasi Ulam Cicah Budu

For all Kelantanese, Nasi Ulam Cikgu or Nasi Ulam Kraftangan is not something new to them. This restaurant is very popular with their traditional Kelantan food. The strategic location of restaurant gives an added advantage to the owner. It is located near pintu gerbang Kota Sultan Ismail Petra or as known as Kampung Kraftangan.

Offering various kinds of Kelantan’s foods with reasonable price make this restaurant becomes people choice for having their lunch. The uniqueness of this place is it serves a variety of ulams (salads). Frankly saying when I was there, I didn’t even know the name of some ulams. My boyfie ?? 2x5. (haha). What we know is eat…and eat…until burp~ another menu that really attracts me here is Ikan Keli Goreng Berempah. The fish is so big, fresh and very tasty (nyum2).

Most popular menu in this restaurant are ikan keli, budu, ikan patin masak gulai tempoyak and of course ulams. Budu used by this restaurant is self-made using generation’s recipes.  The taste of the budu is really different, and could not be found in other place. So, you must give a try and it would be better if you make a booking before coming especially during peak hours which is 1-2 PM. Believe me this is a ‘signature restaurant’  at Kelantan and your trip would be imperfect if you do not dine at this restaurant while in Kota Bharu.
