DAY 1:
25th May 2013
Well, leisure time always ends so quickly. So it happens
with my vacation. Three days two nights are just like one hour. However I’m
still feeling lucky because I got a chance to go with my boyfriend this time.
Frankly speaking we’ve never been to Malacca before and that’s make this
trip even more exciting because we’ve to discover everything by ourselves including
transportation, accommodation, place to visit and etc.
We went to Malacca by a public bus called, Transnasional at
Bandar Tasik Selatan Bus Terminal. The ticket price is CHEAP! Only spent 25
dollar for return trip! It takes about 2 hours to reach Melaka Sentral. When we
reached there, I’ve started to think about going to there and there. As usual, my bofyie always say yes to whatever…if
not, ‘meletops’ la uols… (hihi) Just to tell you all, we’ve rent a car for 110
dollar a day to make our trip going smoothly because Malacca was not like KL,
not much of public transport, moreover we plan to hangout till overnight.
Curious when did we stay for the whole trip? Refer to my
previous post. To summarize, I made a booking prior to our trip at Hallmark
Inn. It was unexpectedly satisfying
stay-experience with reasonable price. The picture doesn’t lie like the
brochures and Ads always do.
The room was just nice and simple. The bedding is so
comfortable that make me attached to it. The bathroom also quite good
(especially high five to the modern toilet! It has the two sprayers for
hygienic purposes.)
After resting a while at the hotel, we started our journey
to Melaka River Cruise. There is a boat
service that brings visitors from Taman Rempah Jetty to the end of Malacca
River and back to Taman Rempah again. It was a great experience because along
the way, the streets of Malacca River adorned with the beauty of the lights of
various types and colors. Besides, the classic old buildings, stunning bridges
across the river makes it the most magnificent view we’ve ever been.

After that, about 7 pm we went to the night market along the
way of Jonker Street. It was amazing but damn freak hot! Perhaps because it is
public holiday, there were so many people…fuhh… Funny thing is that every time
I feel hot, I always throw it to my boyfie…hihi well only we know what
happens…let it be our secret (Tongue
sticking out) Back to our story, the street was filled with various hawker stalls that sell foods, snacks,
toys, and many else. I did buy some souvenir to my family. On the way back to
our car, we saw a very attractive trishaws around the road. It was lavishly
decorated and brightly lighted. Some even have audio system blasting off
popular songs. I’ve tried to haggle the price with the trishaw cycler but
failed (haha). He insists for 20 dollar per ride. Then, we just ‘belah’.

We end our fabulous night with a breathtaking view from the
sky at Menara Taming Sari. From a height of 80 meters, the ride gave us a
spectacular and panoramic view of Historical Malacca City such as Independence
Memorial Buiding, the ship, Malacca River and the Straits of Malacca. It was a
truly joyous and memorable one.
DAY 2:
26th May 2013
A’Famosa Resort here we come!!! We had our morning breakfast
at the hotel and then straight away heading to Alor Gajah with the help of GPS.
I’m sure many would have heard about A’Famosa Resort, an integrated resort that
provides accommodation, leisure and entertainment for those that seek a
breakaway from the routines of life.
We reached there at 12 p.m., redeem the ticket and enter the
A’Famosa Resort Animal World Safari. Here in the Animal World Safari, we’ve encounter
many animals such as tigers, giraffes, elephants and many more. We got to see
the live show of them and what surprised us is the wild animals’ like lion and
bear does not even care about us. They just act like ‘Do I look like I care’ (hihihi)
Maybe because ‘diorang dah kenyang and lali’ said my boyfie.
Aroud 2p.m, we enter A’Famosa Resort Water World. We really
enjoy playing water playground. I can still remember I screaming to death at
that time (hihi). Before climb the stairs for play, we take a rest at the lazy
river. This is where I can just relax on top of the tube because my boyfie drag
me around the park (lalala~). About 4 p.m we stop playing and go eating.
From 6pm to 11pm, we continue our journey to A’Famosa Cowboy
Town. This place reminds me of cowboy shows on television with the surroundings
like cowboys and cowgirls, bowley alley, game centre and fun fair. The best
thing is that we manage to get medium size of doll from playing at game centre.
At night, we’ve been entertained with Red Indian Show which includes
the bowling of fire. The highlight of the day is the Animal Musical Parade
called Carnival where we experienced the elephants, clowns, cowboys, red Indians,
dancers, mascots, and other colorful floats marching down the road. At the end
of the show, fireworks are lighted up that illuminates the sky creating a
beautiful atmosphere for us to enjoy.
We had a great time at Malacca. All well ends well! It was
one hell of an incredible time we shared. Can’t wait for the next year trip!
We plan to go to Legoland, Johor. I hope our dreams will become
true. Love you Mr. Aiman. (XOXO)
